Save The Date

Save the Date Charlie Grant’s older sister is getting married this weekend at their family home, and Charlie can’t wait—for the first time in years, all four of her older siblings will be under one roof. Charlie is desperate for one last perfect weekend, before the house is sold and everything changes. The house will be filled with jokes and games and laughs again. Making decisions about things like what college to attend and reuniting with longstanding crush Jesse Foster—all that can wait. She wants to focus on making the weekend perfect.

The only problem? The weekend is shaping up to be an absolute disaster.

There’s the unexpected dog with a penchant for howling, house alarm that won’t stop going off, and a papergirl with a grudge.

There are the relatives who aren’t speaking, the (awful) girl her favorite brother brought home unannounced, and a missing tuxedo.

Not to mention the neighbor who seems to be bent on sabotage and a storm that is bent on drenching everything. The justice of the peace is missing. The band will only play covers. The guests are all crazy. And the wedding planner’s nephew is unexpectedly, distractingly…cute.

Over the course of three ridiculously chaotic days, Charlie will learn more than she ever expected about the family she thought she knew by heart. And she’ll realize that sometimes, trying to keep everything like it was in the past means missing out on the future.

Review

What can I say… I was a little worried about this book at first, as I have read heaps of different opinions about it from a lot of people but I actually really loved it!. The story, the characters, the action, and how the whole thing was described and created made me fall in love with the Grant family. I have a huge family so reading this book really made me miss the craziness back home, as I am the only one out of my siblings that lives in a different state.

The story was just amazing. All the craziness happening in the Grant family made the book really interesting and exciting! I could barely put the book down. This book was created and described really well, which made it easy to read. The story actually made me laugh so much. I can’t remember the last time a book made me laugh.

The characters are amazing, I really loved all of them! Getting to know all the characters and everyones personality made me fall in love with the whole family. It really made me think of my own siblings and the stuff we got up to when we were all young.

Overall, I really thought this book is amazing. It’s well written and the characters were created really good. I highly recommend it to everyone to read it. Well of course, if you guys enjoy reading this genre. Even if you guys want something easy to read or if you guys want to try something different, I totally recommend you read this book.

Have you guys read this book?
