Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2)Welcome to the world of the Grisha.

Kaz Brekker and his crew of deadly outcasts have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn’t think they’d survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they’re right back to fighting for their lives.

Double-crossed and badly weakened, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz’s cunning and test the team’s fragile loyalties.

A war will be waged on the city’s dark and twisting streets – a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of the Grisha world.

“I would have come for you. And if I couldn’t walk, I’d crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we’d fight our way out together-knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that’s what we do. We never stop fighting.”

Review

Omg! What can I say…. Crooked Kingdom is truly amazing! After finishing Six of Crows I wasn’t worried about the second book, I knew I would love Crooked Kingdom. The writing style, characters and the story was beyond amazing. I love everything about it from the beginning to the end!

I love how the book was designed and I’m so in love with the cover just like Six of Crows. I really like how every chapter is about differently characters and I like how every characters history was mentioned, it made me understand the characters more and fall in love with them. The way this book was written made it so much easy to read and it made the whole book even more interesting.

Once again all the characters was created and described so well. Getting to know all the characters made me fall in love with all of them but of course Kaz Brekker and Inej Ghafa are my top favourite.

Overall, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are now my favourite book of all time! There is no words I can describe how much I love this book. Everyone who loves YA Fantasy books must read this series!!

“Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too. They don’t forget. They tell each other who to look after and who to watch out for.”
