Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she’s at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past…
She has embraced her identity as Aelin Galathynius, Queen of Terrasen. But before she can reclaim her throne, she must fight.
She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die for her. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen’s triumphant return.
Well Queen of Shadows was definitely a lot better than Heir of Fire! I didn’t felt bored or confused at all like I did with the third book! It did took me a while to finish it only because I was reading this the same time I was reading Winter by Marissa Meyer.
There was so much information to take in, in this book but I didn’t feel confused or anything at all which is good! On the third book I was basically dreading to read any part that involves the Thirteen but not in this book! Every single chapter in this book was exciting.
So much characters were introduced in this book and every single one of them I love so much! I literally hated Manon Blackbeak in the Heir of Fire but in Queen of Shadows… I LOVE HER SO MUCH! 🥺 I can’t even express how much love I have for Manon and Aelin 🥰.
Well we all know that I LOVE IT! So much 😂. I didn’t feel the same excitement I had for Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight but I still loved every single of it. It’s hard to say I highly recommend this series as from all the reviews I’ve read about this series are you either love it so much or you hate it so much! So I recommend this to people out there who thinks they would love it as much as I do and of course if they are into the genre.
Have you guys read this book?
