A forbidden romance.
A deadly plague.
Earth’s fate hinges on one girl . . .
CINDER, a gifted mechanic in New Beijing, is also a cyborg. She’s reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s sudden illness. But when her life becomes entwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she finds herself at the centre of a violent struggle between the desires of an evil queen – and a dangerous temptation.
Cinder is caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal. Now she must uncover secrets about her mysterious past in order to protect Earth’s future.
This is not the fairytale you remember. But it’s one you won’t forget.
I listened to Cinder on audiobook and I really loved it. I’m very picky with the narrators but this one was definitely amazing.
I was never really a fun of Sci-Fi but this one I really loved. Cinder is a retelling of Cinderella and the way Marissa Meyer wrote the story was so amazing! It was really enjoyable to listen to, it didn’t take me long to finish it at all. I would really love to reread this one again but actually read the actual book.
There was a lot of information to take in but it didn’t confused me. I felt the opposite! It made me want to continue with the book and find out what was going to happen. I also enjoyed the cute little romance, it was so adorable.
I love all the characters! They were created and described really well. My favourite character is definitely Cinder and Iko. I really find Iko so adorable!. I have a strange feeling about Prince Kai as I already read the second book Scarlet. I didn’t like him on that one which I will be talking about it more on my review for Scarlet.
I really dislike Cinder’s step mum and one of the step sisters. I can’t remember their names but who cares. They were so horrible! I can’t stand people with that kind of personality.
So Cinder is just overall amazing! I loved everything about it! I really highly recommend it to everyone to read it, I know everyone probably won’t love it as much as I would but I think it’s worth it!
Have you guys read this book?
